The Dead Whale
When we lived in Point Arena, we heard that a whale had beached somewhere along the shore, so we went to see. It was huge! And very dead. That was obvious from the awful smell that was everywhere. Lots of people came to see the whale, but nobody stayed too long because they couldn't stand the smell.

We tried so hard not to get any of it on our shoes, but someone did, so we had that horrible "barf" smell all the way home. It was awful.
